Fibrul's story part 1: Arrival

It was a beautiful day, the warm season was at it's peak and the clan had assembled on the town's square. The little amount of snow left at this time of the year had been shoveled out so the villagers would have place to stand. It's at that time that three young wolvar emerged from the largest building in the town. Standing roughtly 7 feet tall, they advanced skyclad between the row of armored soldiers toward the end of the plaza where the elders waited. It was a day of celebration for them, reaching their fourth year, they would become true Wolvars and be accepted in the knight's brotherhood.

Before the elders laid three wolves along with a suit of chainmail armor. These would be their partners and uniform for the comming years. As the stopped before the clan leaders, one of them started talking in their language "You cubs have learned enought to be considered adults, you survived throught the trials imposed on you and Studied diligently to become respectable kinsmen."

As was the tradition, the Oldest kneeled and handed his old clothes to the elder, which burned them in a nearby bonfire "You shall no longer bear the hides of an apprentice but the steel of a noble knight." After repeating the same operation and handing the others two their respective wolves and armour he turned his gaze to the youngest; Fibrul son of Lupe

"It is now your turn young Fibrul --" But before he could finish, the young wolvar's vision was filled with darkness as something pulled him from behind... the last thing he could see was the horror on the chief's face...

------------------------------------------------

"A Magnificient speciment..."

Someone was talking, the wolvar slowly opened his eyes, he was floating in a tank of gelatinous liquid... he wanted to fight, get out of it but he couldn't find the strenght... infront fo him he could see a human, he didn't knew what it was. but it wasn't pretty...

After a few seconds another approached saying "Yes... he was quite a pain to -- " the other man, seemingly younger than him stopped him "That is unimportant. Are you sure it can take the enhancements?" then other nervously replied "Yes... yes... it has shown a formidable fortidue surely we'll have better result than with the human subjects..."

Fibrul couln't understand a word of what they said. He wasn't sure if he could even do sounds like them... After what he thought was a day, he felt asleep under the effect of a new tranquiliser...

Waking up in another room, he found himself bound and gagged... Sitting in a large chair, the saw the IVs in both arms and the large screen infront of him... He then sudently felt something enters the back of his head, it was painful, more than mere physical pain, he could feel it echoing in his head...

Days passed or so he tought, he couldn't tell the passing time in the room. Over his captivity, he could feel new informations appearing in his head, words lots of them, as if he had learned a new language... Maners too, for some reason he knew how to adress a superior or how to act in public spces totally different from his own culture...

One day, he found himself waking up on something he recognised has a bed, it was different from his world's hay but similar. After a few minutes he wandered in the new room, there were alien objects but he knew their uses, fridge, microwave, couch...

After some moments of discoveries, the door opened, the the old man he had seen earlier entered. Fibrul could sence anger accumulating, he wanted to kill him for bringing him here! yet he couldn't do it, instead he raised his hand and saluted the man insticntively...

"Good you're learning." For once he could understands what the man was saying... "Who are you?" the words had left Fibrul's mought by themselves, he could talk their language!

"Good question, I am Dr. Smith, head researcher of Udder Corporation" he wasn't really satisfied, but atleast he had something... "Why have you taken me prisoner?" The scientist didn't even sounds remotly caring... "We needed someone who has the capacity to resist one of our new prototype and we landed with you that's all."

Whitout another word, the man left the room, walking toward the end of the corridor...
